The problem with keeping your web site in front of millions of people is not so much the level of difficultly, it is more to do with knowing exactly what to do, and possibly even more importantly, having the time to do it.
All companies, large and small have this problem. Smaller companies are quite often driven by the owners, this is great for the company, but leaves no time for optimising the company web site.
Larger companies suffer too, the burden of finding a trustworthy person to do the job, the extra costs involved in wages, national insurance, training, sick leave etc quite often leads to the whole thing being put off. The company has a web site - clients can email if they need to.......
